Information notice for people receiving care, family members and invited members
Last updated: 19 July 2026
This page is for you if you do not use bluon.day, but someone who does — a member of your family or a person who looks after you — has entered some information about you into the app. Data protection law (the GDPR, in Article 14) asks us to explain this to you clearly, and that is exactly what this page is for.
Who we are
bluon.day is a shared family planner: it is there to organise everyday commitments. It is run by (in legal language: the "data controller" is):
Blu Oberon S.r.l.
via Tadino, 52 — 20124 Milano (Italia) · VAT no. IT08399040966
Email: privacy@bluoberon.it
What information about you there may be
- Your name or a nickname, chosen by the person who added you.
- Your relationship with them (for example "son" or "grandmother").
- If you have been given a bluon wristband: the fact that it is linked to you.
- The titles of the activities that concern you (for example "Take Andrea to basketball").
- If you have been invited into the trusted circle (the group of people who share the planner): your name or alias, the role proposed for you and the status of the invitation, until you accept it. The invitation expires on its own after 7 days.
Where this information comes from
Not from you: it was written by the person who added you to their planner. bluon.day has not asked you for anything and has not collected anything about you from other sources.
Why we use it
For one thing only: to make a shared family planner work, that is, to help the person who added you organise the days — yours and the family's. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): the interest of the person who added you, your own interest and Blu Oberon's interest in organising family life. No advertising, no profiling, no selling of data: your information is not used for anything else.
Who sees it
Only the person who entered it and, if they have chosen so, the members of their trusted circle that they have authorised. Private scopes are not seen by anyone else, not even by the other members of the circle. Also, when the app uses artificial intelligence services, it does not send text that appears to be about health and, for the automatic morning brief, it does not send names or titles of the activities.
How long it stays
For as long as the person who entered it keeps it in their planner, or until they delete their account: in that case the information about you disappears too. Invitations to the circle that are not accepted expire on their own after 7 days.
Your rights
Even if you do not have an account, you have rights over the information that concerns you. You can ask to:
- find out what information about you there is (access);
- have it corrected if it is wrong (rectification);
- have it erased (erasure);
- object to its use (objection);
- restrict its use while we look at a request from you (restriction).
Just write to privacy@bluoberon.it: we will reply even if you are not a user. If you are under age, whoever holds parental responsibility for you (a parent, for example) can write to us on your behalf. If you think something is not right, you can also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in your country; the one for Italy, where we are based, is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali: gpdp.it.
Where it is processed
The app's database is located in a region of the European Union. Some providers (for example the artificial intelligence ones) are located in the United States: in those cases the transfer takes place with the safeguards required by the GDPR (certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
A piece of advice
If you want to understand better, ask the person who added you to show you this page and to show you how they have entered you in the app. If instead you want all the details on how bluon.day works, you will find the full privacy notice on the Privacy Policy page.
